America's Dumbest Town! Sadly, quitting NI now is going to cost me in terms of underwater stock options, unless someone can pull a sort of a Reverse 9/11 and give the economy a huge kick in the pants. But I think it's time to cut the cord with NI for now so that I can try to focus more energy on Kerry. If all goes well, after November 2 I will be feeling like I fulfilled at least a little of my idealistic dreams this year, and maybe I'll have some mythical "real-world" experience from which to draw for my future endeavors...
Comments:
Here comes a potentially insulting post: You go, Boy! It's fantastic that someone in our family is actually doing something meaningful (besides Alyssa and me, that is). Actually contributing to society... awesome.
Not to knock Jeff, David, dad (and mom), and Jeanie (though Jeanie IS actually doing something meaningful, even if it is mostly "research"), but back when I was working professionally, the only fly in my ointment was that everything I and my staff were doing doing so fantastically well was just so, well, pointless and unimportant. I'm proud of my red snowsuited boy.
