I ordered 3 one-year magazine subscriptions in November: Time, Sports Illustrated, and PC Magazine.

I ordered these through a Web site I was shown after completing an online survey for another company (Jasc).  I began getting all the magazines in December.

Worried that I saw an unexpected $6.00 charge on my credit card and that the magazines might auto-renew, I called the sponsoring company today: New Subscription Services, 888-321-6247 to inquire.

I spoke with a nice woman named Colleen, who did the following for me:

- Gave me a $6.00 credit card credit (refunded me the $2 processing fee for each magazine)
- Cancelled the auto-renewal for all three magazines
- Gave me Confirmation Number T01012304 for this transaction

Now I should not be charged anything more by the company and should receive only the free magazines for one year without any auto-renewal.
